On Saturday 2nd June we headed out for a training session for the first time in what felt like ages. We started off towards Barnham and then carried on towards Eartham instead of going towards Fontwell. It was nice to cycle down some different roads and not know what to expect. This made the cycle easier and more exciting.
We eventually linked back up with our normal route and slogged up the hills towards Arundel before reaching a top speed of 34.2mph going down the hills.
I found this training session very difficult. I think this was due to knowing what was ahead and feeling defeated before tackling the hills. I enjoyed the new parts of the route and really enjoyed the beautiful scenary. The South Coast really is breathtaking.
